Fares from $59* on New Silver Airways Flights Between Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville

(August 11, 2014)Silver Airways, Florida’s next generation regional airline, is gearing up for new nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville starting on August 19, 2014.  In addition, Silver is increasing weekday frequencies between Tampa and Jacksonville and between Tampa and West Palm Beach.

In addition to linking the Northeast and South Florida, Silver’s new Fort Lauderdale – Jacksonville service enhances connection opportunities for guests to the airline’s popular destinations throughout the Bahamas and Key West, as well as over a dozen additional destinations outside of Florida via its codeshare and numerous interline partners.

The Silver fleet is comprised of 28 Saab 340B Plus aircraft (with a capacity of 34 passengers), each powered by highly reliable, fuel-efficient GE jet-turbine propeller engines. All sale fares are one-way and require a 3 day advance purchase. Travel is valid between August 14, 2014 and October 30, 2014. Fare sale starts at 8:00am EDT on August 11, 2014. Tickets must be purchased by 11:59pm EDT on August 15, 2014. Seats are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights may not operate all days of week. Blackout Dates Apply: September 2 and October 14, 2014. Sale fares are only valid on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Service to/from Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville begins August 19, 2014. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Changes or cancellations can be made for a $200 fee plus any increase in fare, if applicable.  Tickets purchased from Silver Airways reservation call center, will cost an additional $25 per customer, per itinerary, and $35 more per customer if booked at an airport ticket office. To avoid this additional expense, please make your reservation through Any added cost associated with purchasing tickets from reservation call center or airport ticket office will be non-refundable. Fares, routes, fees and schedules are subject to change without notice.  Silver Airways will accept checked baggage up to 50 pounds and 62 linear inches for a per customer fee of $25 per bag for the first bag, $35 per bag for the second bag and $125 per bag for the third to tenth bag.
